I am a short form colourist specialising in music promos, branded content, short films and commercials.

Tone and texture were always two most important elements of sound and picture for me. You can tell the same story but evoke very different feelings/states of mind depending on how you use them. In digital colour grading possibilities seem endless. In my work, I try to understand the director and DOPs vision and choose the best possible route to get there. Each grade for me is a process where I start from the overall feel and then go into the details, wrestling with the picture, seeing what works, what can be done. Underneath all this lies the amazing technology which allows for incredible precision and adds an extra thrill to the ride. Weapon of choice: DaVinci Resolve.
